MQTT content standards

Cypernex SDK and custom development utilize an MQTT standard for topic, property and attributes. This standard applies to all MQTT payloads exchanged from a device built using the integrated C# sketch generation tool in our platform.

The standard ensures that regardless of the developers knowledge of the business or native language, terminology and spelling of MQTT data is always consistent. This consistency is an essential requirement for predictive learning and machine to machine interoperability.

If a datapoint is named temperature on one device and tempature on another, associations will be missed or need manual intervention.

Use-cases are a collection of devices and resources designed to provide a solution for a particular industry, community or process.

Association of applications, devices, sensor configuration and calibration parameters, pipeline, database and containers with that use-case is a convenient way to deploy and change these use-cases across device fleets, regions and customers.

Uses cases such as a public Aquaponics facility managed by local government, may have sensors and actuators to control aquatic and agricultural environments, but also a series of sensors to measure public environment, visitors, air quality, temperature, wind and rainfall that is shared as public information in a website.

A single click can deploy or update multiple use-cases across a number of facilities at several locations with a single click.

Ai / ML by use-case

Building on the above use-case deployment, if a use case requires local on-location machine learning inference engines to provide low latency high volume response to real time events, the use-case can be deployed with micro-services (e.g. Docker containers) that determine and carry out the best response for the event.

Predictive learning engine

Predictive learning is not predictive modelling or predictive analytics which are both only extension of machine learning.

Predictive learning engines are the next step in the evolution for use of machine learning. A trained model is one where a data scientist has a set of tools that extract an outcome from known features in a dataset.

Predictive learning is where the models previously trained are put to work to find anomalies that we have not yet thought of. A form of synthetic thinking if you will.

Cypernex R&D teams have already run successful trials of appliances that perform targetted predictive learning. As we continue these initiates it is our goal to attract like minded companies to join us in these pioneering initatives. On our current trajectory we expect to announce a commercial offering of Predictive learning by 2023.
